A strong adhesive that's easy to squeeze

On site at the 2017 Model Remodel, master carpenter Ben Bogie, of Built to Last Design and Build, talks about trying the new foam subfloor adhesive.

Transcript:

"We were happy to be using AdvanTech for our subflooring and happy to have Huber on as a sponsor—AdvanTech is our subflooring of choice on all of our projects. We just find that it stands up to the rigors that you can put a subfloor through during a remodeling project or any sort of construction project.

It withstands rain, snow, ice, beating sun for extended periods of time, which is huge because then we have peace of mind of not worrying about callbacks for delamination and any other floor squeaks and issues like that.

New for us, in this installation, is we got to try out their new aerosol can adhesive, which is really... All in all, after using it today, we're gonna keep using it. There's definitely a bit of a learning curve, figuring out to handle the gun, but all in all, I don't have any carpal tunnel right now, I can feel my fingers, which usually after a day of subflooring I can't.

So, all in all, definitely a good test we'll be seeing how the floor performs after we start using it, but very happy with it so far."
